Role Summary:
This position involves providing direct patient care within a high-volume, fast-paced hospital environment, supporting surgical teams in various specialties such as GYN, urology, colorectal, MIS, bariatrics, and robotic surgeries. Key responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, educating patients and families on post-treatment care, and ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes teamwork, critical thinking, and adherence to hospital values of kindness, safety, excellence, respect, and collaboration.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree (BSN preferred), with or without experience
- Strong passion for team-oriented care and professional development
- Ability to learn scrubbing and circulating procedures
- Commitment to safety and patient-centered care
Key Duties:
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients
- Develop, document, and communicate care plans collaboratively
