Role Overview:
Seeking a PRN Weekend Shift CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with advanced modalities such as CT, MRI, and interventional techniques. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, performing studies independently, and participating in rotations like CT-guided biopsies and procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Executing diagnostic imaging studies accurately and efficiently
- Ensuring proper patient preparation and equipment setup
- Performing portable exams and on-call procedures as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or CT
- Minimum of 1 year CT experience; 2+ years preferred
- Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois) or certifications like RTR, CT, MR, among others
- Experience with advanced imaging modalities and procedures
Additional Requirements: Flexibility to work a minimum of 20 hours every 6 weeks, with expectations to handle various imaging tasks independently. Knowledge of safety protocols and quality control is essential.
