Role Overview:
The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging procedures for adult and pediatric patients to support diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, explaining procedures with professionalism, and executing radiographic exams independently, including portable and on-call situations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate or Trade School education
- No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred
- Licenses: Radiology Technologist Certification; IEMA license for Illinois (excluding MRI)
- CPR certification preferred
Key Duties:
- Ensure patient and equipment readiness for imaging procedures
- Provide high-quality, courteous patient care and instructions
- Perform imaging exams promptly and accurately
This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends or call, 10-hour shifts, and a sign-on bonus for eligible applicants. The department emphasizes delivering quick, high-quality imaging services to support patient care.
