Role: MRI Technologist I, with potential for advancement based on skills and experience.
Responsibilities: Perform MRI procedures, acquire and analyze diagnostic data, ensure patient safety and proper preparation, and assist with interventional procedures. Prepare and administer medications as authorized, evaluate image quality, verify data transfer, and educate healthcare providers and students. Apply safety principles to minimize risks, optimize imaging protocols, and participate in quality improvement activities.
Qualifications: Certification by ARRT (MR), ARMRIT, or NMTCB (MR) is required. Education includes completion of a radiologic technology specialty training program; a related bachelor’s degree is preferred.
