Registered Nurse – Advanced Acute Care Surgery

Role Overview: This is a full-time Inpatient RN position offering up to $24,000 in hiring incentives. The role involves assessing, planning, performing, and evaluating nursing activities to meet patient and family needs, promoting safety, compassion, and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Provide direct care including treatments, medications, and diagnostics.
  • Evaluate and adjust interventions based on patient responses.
  • Collaborate with physicians and staff to address patient needs and ensure quality care.
  • Participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to policies, standards, and unit-specific protocols.

  • Support evidence-based practices and unit metrics.
  • Maintain safety protocols and security measures in the clinical environment.

  • Qualifications & Skills:
  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required).
  • Ability to perform comprehensive assessments and coordinate patient care.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in a Medical-Surgical or telemetry setting preferred.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, with opportunities for self-scheduling.
