Role Overview: This position is for a per diem Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans of care, addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
- Provide direct care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures following policies and procedures.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and ancillary staff to meet patient needs and facilitate discharge planning.
- Participate in unit-based decision-making, quality improvement, safety initiatives, and evidence-based practices.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure safety and compliance with standards.
- Promote patient and family education, ensuring optimal experiences and satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required); Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Strong assessment, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, clinical environment.
