Role Overview: The Clinical Team Coordinator RN supervises nursing care on their assigned unit, ensuring high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care through direct patient care, staff supervision, and process improvements. They facilitate communication, mentor staff, and support evidence-based practices to enhance patient satisfaction and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and supervise personnel, assist with onboarding, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, supplies, and patient triage.
- Address performance issues, communicate pertinent information, and support unit policies and regulations.
- Promote a positive work environment aligned with Magnet philosophies, fostering professional growth and patient involvement.
- Serve as a resource, mentor staff, delegate tasks, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Handle patient and family concerns, follow up on incidents, and ensure proper documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or graduate from a specialty training program in nursing.
- Preferred experience in Cardiac care and leadership roles.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
