Role Overview
This position involves providing medical assistance under the supervision of licensed providers, performing clinical duties such as obtaining vital signs, patient history, phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing, and injections. The Medical Assistant prepares and stocks exam rooms, maintains accurate patient records, triages calls, and communicates test results to patients and providers.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- No prior experience required; experience preferred
- Certification or registration in relevant area
- CPR certification preferred
