Role Overview: The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging procedures to support diagnosis and treatment for adult and pediatric patients. This PRN position covers vacations and high-volume days within the Radiology Diagnostics Department, utilizing CR and PACs technology for general radiology, digital mammography, and specialty imaging.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment, providing instructions with high professionalism and customer service.
- Perform radiographic examinations independently, including portable and on-call procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalent.
- Licensure as a Radiology Technologist (Reg) and IEMA certification for Illinois, excluding MRI.
- Preferred: at least 2 years of experience and CPR certification.
- No supervisory experience required.
