Role Overview
Join a collaborative pharmacy team in a full-time daytime role focused on advancing patient care through medication management, patient counseling, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The position involves diverse clinical and operational duties, supporting safe and effective medication therapy to improve patient outcomes.
- Manage workflow, supervise technicians, interns, and volunteers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Participate in departmental meetings and committees.
- Serve as a medication therapy resource, providing drug information, staff training, and transitions of care.
- Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, documenting all activities.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and safety within medication use processes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience; no supervisory experience required.
- Licensed Pharmacist (RPh) and certified in Medication Therapy Services in MO.
- Preferred: Doctorate in Pharmacy with 2-5 years of experience.
