Role Overview:
This position involves providing **direct patient care** within the home environment, including assessment, evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation of occupational therapy activities in accordance with physician orders. The therapist instructs patients and families on treatment procedures, re-evaluates progress, and adapts therapy plans to maximize benefits. Collaboration with physicians and other healthcare practitioners ensures integrated care.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct patients and families in therapy procedures and use of supportive devices.
- Reassess and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Coordinate with healthcare team for comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT).
- Valid Driver’s License and Occupational Therapist license.
- No prior experience required.
