Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing care standards. The role requires obtaining licensure within 90 days of graduation from an accredited nursing program to maintain employment.
Responsibilities:
- Educate patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Assess and evaluate patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs using critical thinking skills.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members, promoting patient-centered care.
- Monitor patient responses and modify care plans as needed.
- Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality improvement, compliance, and professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner, as this is a safety-sensitive position.
