Role Overview:
This position involves supervising the daily operations of Occupational Health, managing the Workers’ Compensation program, and coordinating the delivery of occupational health services. Key responsibilities include assessing employee injuries, facilitating appropriate treatment, performing pre-employment physicals, and developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and employees. The role requires ensuring effective case management for Workers’ Compensation claims and maintaining safety standards, requiring constant alertness.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
- 2-5 years of nursing experience; supervisory experience is not mandatory but beneficial.
- Certifications such as RN license; COHN certification is preferred.
- Strong communication, assessment, and care planning skills.
