Ambulatory Nurse

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care in an ambulatory setting, collaborating with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote high-quality, cost-effective outcomes. The RN supports clinical staff, assists providers with patient management, and ensures compliance with protocols and documentation standards. Responsibilities include assessing patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, delivering patient education, and supporting wellness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review care plans with PCPs and specialists to optimize health outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs and evaluate progress.
  • Follow clinical protocols and documentation guidelines to ensure compliance.
  • Educate patients and families using verbal and written instructions, assessing their understanding.
  • Assist in daily clinical operations, supporting providers and staff in patient management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate’s degree or Nursing Diploma, with RN licensure and BLS certification.
  • 2-5 years of nursing experience; preferred Bachelor’s degree and 5-10 years of experience.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with constant alertness.
