Role Overview:
The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in advanced modalities such as CT, on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently, and handling on-call and portable exams. The role requires a focus on quality control and patient care in an outpatient setting.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field
- Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) preferred
- Experience in CT or related imaging areas preferred, with up to 2 years of experience
- Licenses & Certifications: IEMA (Illinois), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES; CPR and IV Therapy certifications preferred
