Role Overview:
Seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures on pediatric and adult patients, including MRI, with opportunities for cross-training in MRI if registered. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently, and handling on-call and portable exams. The role involves minimal holiday rotation and call duties, with a sign-on bonus available for eligible applicants.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or trade school equivalent
- No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred
- Licenses & Certifications: IEMA (Illinois), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES; CPR and IV therapy preferred
Key Duties:
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures
- Perform studies independently and in various settings
- Maintain quality control and ensure accurate imaging
