Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a specialized Cardiac ICU, focusing on critically ill cardiac patients. The nurse will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management and post-treatment needs.
- Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients or families.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
- Participate in activities enhancing patient safety and professional development.
- Work in a safety-sensitive environment, demonstrating alertness and safe practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least 2 years of experience.
- Critical care, step-down, or cardiac experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on high-quality patient care.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
