The
Pulmonary Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals with acute medical conditions such as lung transplants, pulmonary hypertension, ventilator dependence, and related therapies. The role involves collaborating closely with physicians, advanced practice nurses, and a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that address physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs. The nurse educates patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include promoting a healing environment, participating in professional development, and proactively communicating care plans across the continuum. The position emphasizes clinical assessment, planning, and delivering care aligned with standards. It requires a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree, RN license, and preferred experience of two years with a Bachelor’s Degree.
