New Graduate Nurse

Role Overview

We are seeking a Graduate Nurse to provide direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, following completion of a nursing program and prior to licensure. The role involves educating patients and families on managing illnesses, using critical thinking to evaluate needs, developing individualized care plans, and ensuring patient safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Educate patients and families on illness management, home care, and medication use.
  • Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs critically.
  • Develop and implement care plans collaboratively, promoting patient-centered healing.
  • Evaluate patient responses and modify care accordingly.
  • Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities; engage in professional development.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Required: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation to remain employed in Missouri.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness.
