Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for safely and accurately administering medications and treatments to residents, ensuring dignity and regulatory compliance. Key duties include following physician orders, adhering to the Six Rights of Medication Administration, documenting in MAR/TAR in real-time, monitoring residents during and after medication passes, and reporting any concerns or refusals promptly. Maintaining clean medication carts and rooms, observing infection control standards, and completing narcotic counts are essential to protecting resident safety and preventing medication errors.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED; age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred: senior care experience
