Caregiver Role Summary

As a Caregiver, your primary responsibility is to provide hands-on support to seniors, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.

You will follow individualized service plans (ISP), document any changes, and promote safety, dignity, and independence for residents.

Engaging residents through conversation and activities, supporting dining services, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment are key duties.

Effective communication with families and care teams is essential, and in Memory Care, creating enriching experiences for residents with memory loss is part of the role.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain, and a valid HHA, PCA, or CNA license.

Required skills encompass compassion, reliability, and strong communication abilities.
