Role Overview: This position is for a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist responsible for performing and assisting with diagnostic, therapeutic, and research imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain correct patient identification, ensure proper preparation, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
- Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and ensure patient safety following ALARA principles.
- Prepare, administer, and document medications and radiation exposure per legal and institutional policies.
- Evaluate image quality, verify data storage or transfer, and assist with interventional procedures.
- Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Certification by ARRT or NMTCB is required upon hire, with new graduates needing to obtain certification before starting. Advancement to higher levels may require additional certification within 24 months. A graduate from a radiologic technology training program is necessary.
