Role Overview: Provides comprehensive inpatient nursing care, including assessments, treatments, medication administration, and patient education, in accordance with state nursing standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
- Coordinate and implement nursing interventions, evaluating their effectiveness.
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs.
- Delegate and supervise tasks based on team members’ skills and patient acuity.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, safety programs, and evidence-based practice activities.
- Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and holistic care addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Promote teamwork, troubleshoot equipment issues, and adapt to changing patient situations.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a nursing training program; strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills; commitment to safety and quality care.
