MRI Technologist – Evening Shift

Role Overview: Performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures, ensuring patient safety and accuracy in image acquisition. Provides care tailored to patients across various age groups in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of MRI processes and safety protocols.
  • Prepares and positions patients, explaining procedures and addressing questions.
  • Performs neuro, body, and extremity MRI scans following radiologist protocols.
  • Administers IV contrast and manages venous access as directed.
  • Enters data into radiology systems, processes images, and identifies anatomy.
  • Conducts equipment quality control and reports malfunctions.
  • Shares responsibilities for supply management and acts as a radiology liaison.
  • Handles non-controlled medications for imaging procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Certification by ARRT (ARRT-MR) or ARMRIT, or NMTCB with ARRT-MR or ARMRIT.
  • Graduate from a specialty training program.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, patient care, and imaging technology.
