Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an urgent care role in Pittston, PA.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and treating common medical conditions such as sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, and urinary tract infections.
- Providing routine health exams, immunizations, screenings, and wellness services.
- Working autonomously with limited administrative tasks while collaborating with a physician.
- Accessing a broad network of healthcare resources and specialists.
- Working in comfortable attire without overnight or mandated extra shifts, and participating in call duties approximately six nights per year.
Qualifications include:
- Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies or an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current NCCPA certification or eligibility, and Pennsylvania licensure.
- At least six months of advanced practice experience in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, or critical care.
- Ability to treat patients from age one and older.
