Role Overview: Responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, administering ionizing radiation for medical purposes, and supporting licensed practitioners.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure proper patient identification and preparation, optimize imaging protocols following ALARA principles, evaluate image quality, document activities, and assist with specialized procedures. Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, and maintain compliance with laws and organizational policies.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of a Radiologic Technology training program; ARRT-R certification within 6 months for new grads; ability to perform or assist with radiographic procedures independently; strong attention to patient safety, technical skills, and documentation.
