Role: Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in a critical care setting, providing state-of-the-art medical care with a team of physicians and nurses.
Responsibilities:
- Perform 14 shifts per month, including days and nights, with 12-hour shifts from 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am.
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to assess patient needs, develop care plans, provide education, evaluate outcomes, and coordinate follow-up and referrals.
- Act as a patient advocate, serving as a confidant, advisor, and liaison between patients, families, and physicians.
- Opportunities for moonlighting to supplement income.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s Degree in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program (required).
- Strong communication, collaboration, and patient advocacy skills.
