Registered Nurse – Advanced Acute Care Medical

Role Overview: This position involves providing comprehensive inpatient nursing care on a fast-paced 24-bed unit, managing patients with diverse medical conditions such as pneumonia, COPD, cardiac, renal, GI disorders, and postoperative cases. The RN assesses, plans, delivers, and evaluates patient care, ensuring safety, patient satisfaction, and family support. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and ancillary staff, is essential to optimize patient outcomes and implement evidence-based practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient assessments and address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
  • Develop and coordinate individualized care plans, including education and discharge planning.
  • Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostics following policies.
  • Evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate proactively with healthcare team members to meet patient needs.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
  • Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a team environment.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing education and safety programs.
