Job Summary
Performs CT procedures to acquire digital images for diagnosis and treatment, under supervision of a Radiologist.
Plans and executes all CT protocols using advanced technology, ensuring adherence to clinical criteria and safety guidelines.
Maintains proficiency in operating multiple CT systems across various locations.
Prepares patients properly, including positioning, immobilization, and shielding, to ensure high-quality images.
Performs CT Interventional Procedures and advanced CTA imaging such as TAVR, EVAR, and Cardiac scans.
Utilizes knowledge of pharmacology and physiology to optimize scan quality and patient safety while minimizing dose, guided by physics principles.
Interprets technical factors to enhance scan quality and efficiency.
Ensures protocols align with safety standards like Image Gently Guidelines, monitors dose data, and notifies when preset levels are exceeded.
The role requires a graduate of a Specialty Training Program and involves working in a clinical environment with a focus on patient care, safety, and protocol adherence.
