Role Summary: Responsible for performing standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining related records. This position involves assisting physicians with procedures, ensuring patient safety through proper immobilization and radiation protection, and analyzing patient characteristics to optimize imaging results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiological and fluoroscopic exams with correct patient positioning and exposure techniques.
- Operate all modality-specific equipment proficiently.
- Set up and adjust immobilization and protective devices.
- Review patient details such as body size, age, and suspected pathology to tailor examinations.
- Assist physicians during procedures and report equipment issues.
- Maintain accurate records and participate in quality assurance activities.
- Contribute to educational training of students.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (required).
- Knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic techniques and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, patient safety awareness, and teamwork skills.
