Diagnostic Radiology Technologist – Rotation

Role: Radiologic Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic, therapeutic, and research-related imaging procedures using ionizing radiation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain correct orders, ensure proper patient identification, and prepare patients for exams while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and prioritize patient safety following ALARA principles.
  • Prepare and administer medications via vascular access under licensed practitioner supervision.
  • Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and verify data storage or transfer.
  • Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, assist practitioners in fluoroscopic and specialized procedures.
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in various clinical settings, including operating rooms and ICUs.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex procedures, participate in quality improvement activities, and support departmental priorities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Ability to independently perform and assist with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety, patient care, and imaging techniques.
  • Excellent communication, education, and teamwork skills.
