CT Technologist – Part Time

Role Overview: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists perform diagnostic, therapeutic, or research imaging procedures using ionizing radiation. They independently execute or assist in CT and molecular imaging, ensuring high-quality data acquisition for diagnosis and intervention requests by licensed practitioners.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain correct orders, properly identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history while respecting confidentiality.
  • Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to ensure patient safety and care.
  • Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, evaluate images for quality, and verify data storage or transfer.
  • Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, assist with interventional procedures, and perform prescribed CT procedures.
  • Demonstrate commitment to departmental priorities, proficiency in routine and complex duties, and participate in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Certification by ARRT or NMTCB with ARRT-CT certification required.
  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and ability to follow safety protocols.

This role is performed in a clinical environment, requiring adherence to organizational policies and procedures. The position emphasizes patient safety, quality care, and collaborative teamwork.
