Role Overview: The position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining and purchasing equipment, and tracking departmental statistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage staff by hiring, training, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and supporting professional development.
- Assist in developing departmental staffing, revenue, and expense budgets, ensuring goals are met and responding to operational changes.
- Oversee patient care delivery, ensuring interventions meet patients’ age and developmental needs, and document according to policy.
- Create and implement collaborative care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, and medical treatments.
- Monitor staff productivity, review hours worked vs. scheduled, coordinate payroll, and handle staff communication and meetings.
- Conduct performance evaluations, manage disciplinary actions, and ensure staffing efficiency and operational objectives are achieved.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree with RN licensure.
- Experience: 2-5 years in a supervisory role; preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with 5-10 years of experience and at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Preferred: Team Lead/Charge or ANM experience, Emergency Medicine background.
