Role & Responsibilities:
The Medical Assistant (MA) provides clinical support under the supervision of a physician or licensed provider. Key duties include preparing and cleaning exam rooms, obtaining vital signs and patient histories, performing clinical skills such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing, and injections. The MA also triages calls, delivers test and lab results to patients, and accurately documents information in patient records.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED
- No prior experience required; experience preferred
- Certification or registration in relevant area
- CPR certification preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
