Role Overview:
This position requires a Registered Medical Assistant with at least 5 years of experience in Primary Care Medicine and familiarity with Epic electronic health records. The role offers an opportunity to gain diverse clinical experience across various specialties, including diabetes, hypertension, pediatrics, and adult care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and stock exam rooms, ensure cleanliness and readiness.
- Obtain vital signs, patient histories, and accurately document in medical records.
- Perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing, and injections.
- Triage patient calls, relay test and lab results, and communicate relevant information to providers using correct medical terminology.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Licensed/Certified in relevant medical area.
- Preferred: at least 2 years of experience and CPR certification.
- Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
