Role Overview: This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and overseeing departmental operations in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and supporting professional development of staff.
- Developing and managing staffing, revenue, and expense budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals.
- Providing patient care aligned with planned interventions, documenting practices, and creating collaborative care plans based on assessments.
- Monitoring staff productivity, conducting performance evaluations, and managing staff scheduling, payroll, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensuring departmental operations support overall goals, with responsibilities for staff communication, overtime management, and performance improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree (RN required); Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience: 2-5 years for RN role; 5-10 years for senior roles, with supervisor experience preferred.
- Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license required.
- Skills: Leadership, staff management, budget oversight, patient care coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
Additional Preferences: Experience in neurology and supervisory roles.
