Role: Provides anesthesia care in the operating room, supporting surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures under supervision. Conducts preoperative evaluations and postoperative follow-up, acting as a patient advocate and liaison among patients, families, and physicians.
Responsibilities: Administers anesthesia across various case types at a Level I Trauma Center, supporting 13 non-OR sites such as GI, Pulm, Cath/EP lab, IR, OB, and MRI. Works within a facility with 31 operating rooms and a comprehensive range of specialized services. Supports diverse patient populations, including pediatric and adult cases.
Qualifications & Skills: Master’s Degree in Nursing required. Ability to practice anesthesia independently while supporting a team of specialists and subspecialists. Strong communication skills, patient advocacy, and adaptability to a variety of cases and settings.
