Role Overview:
This position involves managing nursing staff in Interventional Radiology and Radiation Oncology, including RN’s, Nurse Navigators, and Coordinators. The manager oversees patient care, personnel management, equipment maintenance, and departmental operations. Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance evaluations, staffing, and ensuring productivity aligns with departmental goals. The role also involves developing care plans, supervising staff schedules, and participating in budget management.
Qualifications & Skills:
– RN license with a BSN required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
– 2-5 years RN experience with supervisory duties; 5-10 years experience and <2 years supervisory experience preferred
– Radiology experience is a plus
– Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
– Ability to coordinate patient care and manage staff effectively
