Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents accurately, safely, and with dignity, following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration.

Key duties include documenting medication administration in MAR/TAR in real-time, observing residents during and after medication passes, monitoring symptoms, reporting concerns promptly, and completing narcotic counts according to policy.

The role requires maintaining clean and organized medication carts and rooms, adhering to infection control and safety standards, and ensuring regulatory compliance to prevent medication errors and promote resident safety.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
• Medication Administration certification, CPR, and First Aid certifications
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Experience in senior care preferred
