Role: The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary care team, delivering individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care in a clinical setting. They practice based on evidence, current standards, and organizational models, ensuring patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity.
Responsibilities:
- Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and goal-setting.
- Coordinate care via interdisciplinary collaboration, ensuring timely documentation and promoting a respectful environment.
- Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and uphold safety and quality standards.
- Actively contribute to resource planning, protocol development, and clinical best practices.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a qualified and engaged workforce.
- Adhere to legal, ethical, and organizational policies, including licensing and certification requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Current RN licensure (single state or multi-state compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Less than one year of clinical experience preferred, with completion of accredited nursing program.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
