Role: Part-time Physical Therapist at an outpatient rehab center.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity.
- Developing and revising treatment plans collaboratively with patients and their families.
- Providing patient and family education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources.
- Documenting evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans according to departmental standards.
- Acting as a resource for staff, families, and physicians regarding rehabilitation services and equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining ethical practices.
- Fostering teamwork, delivering excellent customer service, and applying effective communication skills.
- Participating in professional development, mandatory training, and orientation activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
- Licenses and certifications including PT license and BLS certification.
- Effective communication, customer service focus, team orientation, and basic computer skills.
Key Duties: Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, educate patients, document care, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a positive environment fostering teamwork and quality care.
