Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Audiologist to provide high-level audiologic care within a team-based environment.
This role requires efficiency in a fast-paced ENT clinic, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
The audiologist will assess and treat patients across all ages with hearing, balance, and communication disorders, offering diagnostic and therapeutic services.
Essential Functions
- Identify and evaluate hearing loss using appropriate diagnostic equipment across the lifespan.
- Perform vestibular evaluations, interpret results, and counsel patients on balance issues.
- Provide treatment with hearing aids, assistive devices, cochlear implants, and bone-anchored devices, including programming and counseling.
- Conduct audiometry, VNG, EcochG, ABR/ASSR tests, adhering to best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation, comply with regulations, and participate in professional development.
- Fit patients with hearing protection and participate in ongoing education to enhance care quality.
- Ensure compliance with legal and accreditation standards and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Doctoral Degree in Audiology (Au.D. or Ph.D.) required.
- Preferred experience with Epic EMR and at least one year of relevant practice.
- Valid Audiologist License in the state of Texas required.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency is preferred.
