Role Overview: This position involves coordinating and delivering Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy services, overseeing clinical care for inpatient and outpatient settings. The role emphasizes developing treatment plans, supervising therapy staff, and ensuring quality patient care in alignment with departmental objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs, develop and modify individualized treatment programs, and evaluate outcomes.
- Supervise and coordinate therapy staff, ensuring adherence to policies, safety, and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families, handling cultural diversity and conflict resolution.
- Participate in professional development, share knowledge, and promote evidence-based practices.
- Assist with staff training, student supervision, and departmental program development.
- Manage documentation, discharge planning, and equipment recommendations to maximize patient function.
- Oversee departmental logistics, staffing, budgeting, and compliance with safety and infection control policies.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Doctorate in Physical Therapy or Master’s in Occupational Therapy preferred.
- Experience: Five years of clinical experience preferred.
- Licensure: Licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist required.
