We are seeking a Safety Specialist with a strong safety and health background to innovate, design, and improve safety systems, processes, equipment, and tools in alignment with operations, new models, and business goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading department initiatives and supporting complex safety improvement projects
- Applying PDCA cycles to reduce hazards and promote continuous safety enhancements
- Supporting safety culture development through collaboration with leaders and committees
- Interpreting and applying safety management policies and procedures
- Conducting risk assessments, ergonomic studies, and documenting safety activities
- Presenting safety data analysis and trending results
- Developing technical expertise and professional skills
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related fields
- 0-4 years of safety experience
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and data analysis skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations, injury prevention, and root cause analysis
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to prioritize tasks
