CT Technologist – Weekender – Evening

Role Overview: Performs CT procedures to acquire digital images for diagnostic and treatment purposes under supervision. Plans and executes all CT protocols using advanced technology, ensuring patient safety and image quality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems, maintaining proficiency across multiple locations.
  • Follow established protocols based on clinical guidelines, anatomy, and patient history.
  • Ensure proper patient preparation, positioning, immobilization, and protection during procedures.
  • Perform CT angiography, interventional procedures, and advanced imaging such as TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac scans.
  • Monitor radiation dose data, notify when scans exceed preset levels, and utilize physics knowledge to optimize patient safety.
  • Maintain knowledge of pharmacology and physiology to produce high-quality images under varied conditions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate of a Specialty Training Program (required).
  • Technical expertise in operating CT systems and related equipment.
  • Strong understanding of clinical histories, organ systems, and vascular anatomy.
  • Commitment to patient safety, dose management, and protocol adherence.
