CT Technologist – Night Shift

Role Overview: Responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) procedures, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and research imaging, to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Independently or assistively, they prepare patients, administer medications and radiation, ensure optimal image quality, and adhere to safety protocols in line with federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain correct patient identification, prepare for exams, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to ensure patient safety.
  • Administer medications through vascular access as prescribed and evaluate images for quality and proper positioning.
  • Assist licensed practitioners with interventional procedures and educate students and healthcare providers.
  • Perform CT procedures as directed and ensure proper data storage and transfer.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) upon hire.
  • New graduates must obtain certification prior to employment; ongoing certification advancement may be required.
  • Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
