Role Overview: Provides quality nursing care as part of a patient care team, serving as a frontline representative between patients, families, and healthcare providers. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to promote outcomes and well-being.
- Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, assist with care plans, and coordinate patient flow.
- Deliver safe, effective care following policies and document assessments, care provided, and incidents accurately.
- Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, educating families, and ensuring patient-centered care.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and support organizational goals.
- Maintain professional competence through ongoing training, certifications, and industry engagement.
- Mentor and support colleagues, fostering a positive work environment and upholding standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associates, Bachelors, or Masters in Nursing (preferred).
- Current RN license, multi-state compact preferred.
- Certifications: BLS or BLS Instructor required.
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience for PRN roles.
