Role Overview: This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining and purchasing equipment, and tracking departmental statistics.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff, including hiring, training, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and supporting professional development.
- Contribute to staffing, revenue, and expense planning, ensuring departmental goals are met.
- Oversee patient care plans, ensuring interventions are tailored to patients’ age and developmental needs, and document appropriately.
- Develop collaborative care strategies based on assessments, diagnoses, and medical treatments.
- Manage staff scheduling, payroll, and communication, including conducting performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and staffing adjustments.
- Ensure departmental productivity aligns with operational goals and support staff performance evaluations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing; RN licensure required.
- 2-5 years of experience; supervisory experience preferred, with a Bachelor’s Degree and 5-10 years of experience advantageous.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and clinical skills are essential.
Additional Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a Team Lead/Charge nurse or ANM is advantageous.
