Job Summary
The Surgical Tech Student Intern is a temporary role designed for students enrolled in an accredited Surgical Tech program.
They will work alongside a Certified Surgical Tech and may assist in patient care under supervision from a Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Physician.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist in surgical procedures and patient care
– Perform direct and indirect patient support tasks
– Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Enrolled in an accredited Surgical Tech program
Certifications/Licensure
- Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
– Must be obtained within ninety (90) days of start date
Skills and Experience

– Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail skills
