Role: The House Supervisor manages patient care and hospital operations during off-shift hours, serving as a key liaison between administration and departments.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee patient placement, staffing, and complaint resolution 24/7.
- Manage, train, and evaluate staff to ensure departmental goals are met.
- Supervise safe patient care delivery and respond to unique situations as the on-site leader.
- Coordinate clinical development of nursing staff through coaching and monitoring compliance.
- Act as a communication bridge between administration and staff.
- Participate in staffing, budget, and operational planning to support departmental objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in nursing; RN license required.
- 2-5 years of nursing experience and <2 years of supervisory experience.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and 5-10 years of experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills.
